Description
Captured 1/21/11, early in the morning, within walking distance of my anomalous abode.
Infinitely better viewed via ZOOM.
I used to know the name of this variety, but that was some time ago before my memory began going south. But they do remind me of peppermint candy canes or cherry vanilla ice cream.
April and May are great months for roses, so I've been snapping tons of pics of them all over the general area, whether it's sunny or not.
Shalom, thankx for dropping by, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

hehe a flower that looks yummy to eat:-) They are gorgeous Harry!
Gorgeous shot Harry! My mother used to call them variegated roses but I like your ‘peppermint candy’ name better. Super colors and detail in zoom mode. Dana
What rich and beautiful Roses. Lovely floral work.
They are lovely! They do look like peppermint candy, and I wouldn't be surprised to find that the name of the variety is something like that. Beautiful find and capture!
