Meditation
The day before Easter
the empty cross
much to bear
His last days.
Tomorrow He is Home.
Who knows how much suffering
how much despair
inward pain?
Never forget
We are children of the same Father
Which gave himself
on the cross.
Much to be thankful for
to realize
He will always be with us
together with us
in laugh and cry.
Relief and bear us
mercy upon
lifting over it.
Raise us
about suffering
in this world around.
Until we've too
the cross behind us.
After accepting of,
limitations here on earth.
But boundless love
will be our resurrection.

Looking at this image, it appears to have some sort of a religious undertones, as seen in lead-light windows, (even-so I would not like to offer my views on religion), I can actually visualise the biblical crosses of Golgotha, to my way of thinking ... and thinking of you - as always, BB
