tout les villages de france ont leurs monuments aux morts de la guerre de 14,et des autres aussi,celui de joyeuse,en ardeche,a la particularite de montrer la douleur des parents,alors que la grande majorite a pour sujet la mort "glorieuse" des enfants!!

Le thème représenté sur ce monument aux morts est effectivement particulièrement original. La Champagne où j'habite fut l'un des principaux fronts de la première guerre mondiale, et je ne me souviens pas avoir vu autre chose qu'une glorification des héros morts pour la Patrie. Avec parfois la représentation des blessés, comme à Châlons. Mais jamais la famille.
