How Done..... The Lee image, a friend, was made by a composite in Photoshop of a number of images I had shot over the years.. then reworking each layer before then sending it off to Corel Painter where I would clone some areas using different brushes and then saving it as another layer. I now would go back and rework each photoshop layer in painter to apply little details I would want and especially the brush work. In this particular case I semi posterized some areas so I had the color and just basic patterns to work with such as the flags and ground. While I enjoyed the process, I became tired of hearing people simply state that.. "Oh Photoshop... I can do that" so now I do only 3D modeling and render my own efforts such as The Race, or Alligator Interior... but alas they still think its pictures. don

I must say, being southern, I have a rich appreciation for the history of the south, good, bad and benign. These three images you posted grab my heart with emotion for the historic factor and their skillful presentation.

This was worth all the time and labor, mate. It looks like a first-rate period piece. Few people realize the amount of work that goes into a piece like this, and you deserve the highest commendation for both putting in the effort and for your exceptional skills. Well done, sir!
