New Novel = Contemporary = Rough Diamond
There was a five span moment in the kitchen yesterday with my husband, he was playing around and treating me with rough masculinity - showing me his inner strength and that he was a man, and that I'm a woman. LOL, and in that instance, a new novel was born inside my head. I won't tell you a whole lot about the story itself, but I'll give you a portion of how it ends.
Sid stands gaining control of his racing emotions, he's hardly ever nervous, but this time, standing before Jorja at this juncture in his life, nothing else means more, he has to go, the witness protection program means starting over somewhere alone, with the means to take little, so choices were important, and this was the one he could not control the outcome of. This was it, his last shot for a new life...
Jorja looked down into the hand before her, the man at her back had put her thru a many sleepless nights, she could feel his warm breath on her neck as his voice came deep and sure. Nestled in the center of his palm, a rough whitish, yellowy nice size rock with some soft sparkles... a rough diamond.
"They say a lady always knows how she wants her diamond cut - I know it's a rough diamond, but - it's yours and well - if you want it - I'll let you cut it, any way you like. If - if you wan'it - that is..."
