One paper is done and now 10 days till final exam. Got a few evenings off and decided it was time to add another panel to the story before you all forget about Anna and the Delphinium Order. You do remember don't you?
This image took over 8 hours just to render, not including scene construction and a mountain of postwork! I love how Onna's skin soaked up the brown and orange light I used here.
--------------
The day had broken stormy and a wicked wind was blowing the dry autumn leaves high around her. Onna could not have been more pleased. She warmed up by blowing away a few dust devils from the fire pits. Oh yes! A highly charged atmosphere made the casting of her spells that much easier; it was a good omen. And casting spells was going to be the order of the day. For today she and her human partner, Shaw, would strike another blow against their mutual enemies - the Delphinium Order.
Last night she had called Shaw to her temple and told him what she had seen in her scrining sphere; a young female knight of the Order. The vision had been so clear that there could be no doubt that it was real and that this young woman must now be nearby. A new knight would surely have a young dragon with her and above all else Onna wanted one. A dragon was key to all the power that she still lacked, for although Onna was incredibly wicked without a dragon, she would be totally tyrannical with one. Now was her chance to get one and nothing was going to stop her.
She would need Shaw to take on the knight in a fight and also to eliminate whatever familiars she would surely have with her. Onna herself would concentrate on capturing the dragon. Shaw had wanted to return to his villa to summon more of his men for help in the capture, but Onna had brushed off the suggestion. It was a waste of time and time was of the essence. Besides it was ridiculous, insulting even, to think the two of them, a wicked witch and a powerful man could not take on an unsuspecting neophyte knight.
No. By the time this sun was set there would be one less Delphinium knight in the world and Onna would have her dragon.
Power! Onna would have all the power she had ever dreamed possible. And the Delphinium Order would pay dearly for rejecting her. Onna's time had come and she was going to enjoy every minute of it!
But for all her power there was something Onna didn't know. She didn't know what Anna knew.

You got everything on this image, it's full of energy circling around it. It's definitely one of your best works. The only thing lacking here is the music, but that is asking too much. A wonderful composition that has too much to offer! Bravo Zulu, Roxy!
the render, setup and design on this Roxy is outstanding, this must have taken some time. excellent fx and expression.
Fantastic image. Beautiful work. The lighting came out excellent. The hellish orange really sets the stage. Like the highlight on the sword and she looks maniacle. It would seem her overconfidence is going to be her undoing. Excellent postwork, very rich.
