Description
Dang ... I hope the title translates okay into British English! Not everything means the same thing there as it does here.
Another iris from the archives.
..........
We've only got a few things left to do in order to be ready to leave for our trip! Unfortunately, Bill tweaked his back yesterday, so we're playing it by ear. He's quite sure he'll be ready to drive by Wednesday morning ... we'll have to wait and see.
I have no idea how long it's been since I looked at your art. A day? Two days? Too long, in any event. I'm tired of lists and projects, and am ready to sit in front of the computer for hours and hours and see what you've been up to. Soon. Soon. I miss the galleries when I'm not around!

awesomeeeeeeeeee
Excellent image...
This is so pretty. I hope you are back from your trip in time to bring us photos of the iris this year. But then, photos from last year are just as good and I wouldn't know the difference. I hope Bill heals quickly.
It translates for me - a picture says a thousand words after all! The tight crop is fantastic. Well done on LWITG and take care of Bill! Clive
Up close and personal and simply gorgeous!! Tell Bill to take it easy!!
Great capture and fitting title Tara. Hope Bill's back is ok by Wednesday morning. Tell him to take two disprin and call me in the morning lol.. No nothing like a sore back its no fun I know, have had a crook back for years..:-)
WOW! it is so lovely Tara! I do indeed hope that Bill will be fit for fight, when you begin your trip to Arizona. My very best wishes for a safe and pleasant journey to you both. :-)))
a beauty...shag pile is ok...;)
Teehe! Beautiful! Very exciting to be going on an adventure!
I think most of us would like one of these carpets in front of the fire Tara!! Lol. This shot is a beauty.
exceptional!
Gorgeous shot!
What great macro results...and the colors and shadows bring this bloom to life right in front of our eyes. Back should be fine...fingers crossed:)
belle photo!!
Fantastic capture, Tara. I hope Bill's back gets better
Woww!!! love the colors. Well done
Stunning capture!
nice foto, wonderful colors
Super cool. 5+. Wow. I love it.
Beautiful!!!
Wonderful photo. My mother is an Iris, and even she would understand (and not be even slightly offended by) the term shag carpet... :o) Have a wonderful trip, when you finally get underway!
Splendid capture and fantastic colours! :)
I've always thought irises are a fun flower - it's like a face with its mouth open and sticking its yellow tounge out at you! :-D Really cool macro you have here, Tara!
Tara, I could see this blown up/framed and hanging in our showroom. Beautiful macro shot!
Superb macro of the gorgeous bloom. I don't know about an Iris or Shag Carpet, but that sure looks like an orchid to me. And I see there are the usual comments by the village back experts. A LITTLE knowledge is a dangerous thing.
So gorgeous, as only you can do! Hope Bill's back is better and have a great trip!
Another one - just as luscious looking - as the first one ... I must admit, I am not familiar with the cryptic tale, but I've got a vivid imagination ? - who knows ? wishing you both a great adventure, BB
oh, that back what a pain plenty of rest will do the trick oh, and no bending use the knees Hope Bill feels better soon wonderful colors smile and do have fun, Tara May warm hugs, Linda Kaye
And we miss you my dear but its spring and the open road beakons. A stunning macro. Brilliant colors. Of course I interpreted the title in filthiest possible way. {;-> What car did you get?
beautiful detail and colors,well done
