Description
Long before our ancestors were bore
Even before all our legends and lore
This ground was here ready to greet
Waiting and willing to be at our feet
Others come to steal you away
To get you these others slay
Into you our blood would seep
Together as one we would weep
On this land we will always defend
We stand together on her we depend
Within us both runs blood of the same
The blood others would wish to tame
This ground is now a living thing
And from her our life shall spring
In battle though we may die
In death on her we may lie
The land has always done her part
As she always has from the start
Now take up arms and prepare to defend
This is our sister and our closest kin

Elros is a feudal planet in the game of Dark Heresy and it makes sense to me that they would have ancient ceremonies. This was written as a 'Pledge of Allegiance' to Elros as well as other lands they may called upon to help defend against enemies of the Emperor.
