Description
"Where Glaciers Once Lay..Eglinton Valley"
On the way to Milford Sound, South Island we had to stop and photograph this amazing valley created from the retreating glacier.

nice job
beautiful perspective and view
Excellent capture!
amazing panorama
It seems so odd to think of glaciers in the "ring of fire" area; reminds us that the world is a constantly changing place, albeit on a much larger time scale than our puny lifespans! Beautiful capture!
POV and framing really make this super awesome! Interestingly I think "Eglington" is also an old old estate in Northumberland on the Scottish border in the area where "Arthur" was to have been. It was the home to the Ogles (my ancestors) and generations of Knights, one of the few families which survived with land intact during the Saxon invasion.
