Description
"When you get caught between the moon and New York City
I know it's crazy but it's true
If you get caught between the moon and New York City
The best that you can do
The best that you can do is fall in love."
Chorus from the old Christopher Cross song!
Image taken on my recent trip in Jan 2011. View from my hotel room one late afternoon.

OUTSTANDING IMAGE A MOST FANTASTIC SHOT
Stellar quasi-silhouetting against the contrail-crossed blue sky, Carin! And I'm trying to remember who sang that Christopher Cross song. It was one of my favorites.
A great shot. Fantastic composition.
Fascinating image Carin. It shows our folly of overcrowded and expanding cities with contrails overhead and not much sky to be seen but the moon still looking down on it all unchanged and the way it should be
A wonderful capture with great lighting and clarity.
Gorgeous shot; wonderful deep tones and composition!
Wonderful capture Carin and a fantastic sky to back it up. Dana
