Description
I took this image about 2 wks ago..when I first spied them growing at my mom's house...I was so frustrated I hadn't saw any sign of spring yet...and my cousin sent me a yellow crocus and I knew they had to be up at my mom's as well...as we both planted them there at the same time we planted hers...I was in for a surprise when I saw the lil pretty snowdrops right in the mix...Such a delight to see on one of our first pretty days here in Ky....My hubby stayed with my cousins hubby...his boss while she took a breather and we got out to get some pics......Got a few..but I have been so weak haven't really felt like posting them..so just been commenting... I was in the hospital for 4 days last week..went in with a fever of 103.8...and a severe kidney infection was suppose to be an overnight stay..yeah I thought overnight will turn into a week...and it almost did..my temp kept spiking while I was in the hospital...my Dr was waiting in my room when they wheeled me in my from ER saying I almost waited too late....Ran a high fever for 3 days...and got fluids and antibiotics out the wazoo for a week...still on antibiotics oral.....
had blood work done yesterday...a check up today
and it was perfect...Dr said it would take me a week or two at least until I got to feeling better...now if my fever gets to 100.5 I am to call his office immediately and he will personally call me back..more than likely to be admitted....I weighed 108lbs in the hospital..I now weigh 112...so have gained 4 lbs..Yeah...that is way better than losing....I am so tired from running 2 days in a row...going to sleep in tomorrow..I have to go get chemo Thurs...and Friday is my Birthday...I am telling everyone I turn 25 (LOL)yeah I wished.....But I just want the weather to hold out so none of these beautiful blooms can be blown off the trees..The Magnolia Tulip Trees and Bradford Pear Trees are absolutely magnificent in all their glory this year...I got a few images of the Magnolia Tulip Tree it is the most prettiest I have ever saw that tree........Told hubby I would love to go to Wally World and get me 2 new paperbook novels....maybe a new T-Shirt....and a new cotton nightgown.....Don't need nothing sexy..I just want to feel comfy when I crawl under the covers..not a Victoria Secret nightgown...when all I want to do is just go in a deep peaceful sleep.......A kiss and a cuddle good night is good enough for me after being married 28yrs LOL...
The weather has been beautiful here...Got up to 78 the past 2 days.....Have made my trip to the library this week..The Dollar Store and Grocery Store plus the hospital for blood work and the Dr's office for a check-up..I feel like I have been to Louisville and back.....
All post work done in PSP9..just added borders..and text.........
Thank you for any comments...and also thank you if you put this image in your favorites...
Keep me in your prayers........
As always

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLUSH'N SUSAN! We've visited each others galleries through the years, I've always loved your logo/avatar, we have common friends... it's just rare that I save any favorite artists anymore - lol... the first few months I was here, I didn't realize what I was getting myself into - lol... It is your birthday, I do think about you from time to time cause I read about you through our common friends... I thought the best birthday present I could give you is to fave you. Happy Birthday - YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!
I tried to comment on this the other day when the site was so slow and gave up.quite beautiful Susan
A lovely look forward to spring, Susan! So lovely - glad you were able to get out and get a few photos. It's snowing right now, here in Missouri - we had a couple warm days last week, now it's back to winter. Hope you continue to feel better, my friend. You are a brave lady, and you are in my thoughts and prayers - as is anyone fighting that affliction. It's hit my family hard as well. Hope you had a wonderful birthday despite not feeling well. Hugs coming to Kentucky, Rod
Very beautiful capture, Susan! Wonderful flowers! http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2184042
Fantasically GORGEOUS Susan and briliant photography!!
this is lovely Susan...nice frame too
Love the way the crocus ring the white flowers here. Nice capture! Sorry you've been through it again. Spring got here with temps in the 80s then we got slammed with another inch or two of snow and cold temps to go with it. Fortunately it melted off; although the cold has remained. Supposed to warm up this weekend. I hope! I managed to walk two square blocks around with my Jack Russell. A first for us both since my surgery a month ago. Felt good. You keep hanging in there, my friend!
Congrats on your wieght gain people keep telling me that is good. Lovely spring posting :) Cathy xoxoxo

So lovely, Susan.
Ring of beauti.
I love crocuses. 30 odd years ago, when my husband to be, asked me when I wanted to be married, I said I wanted to wait until March, so the crocuses would be blooming. And they were. Beautiful image. I love how the crocuses are encircling the snowdrops. Happy belated birthday. I hope you are feeling better. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
OHH! These are so lovely together. Yesterday I also took a shot of a group snowdrops with other flowers of the purple kind. Just couldnt quite say what flowers it was.
