Description
On the bank of the Bacchiglione river crossing Padova I saw this chance encounter between a puzzled cat and a nutria or coypu, a large rodent which has become a serious problem because of its incontinent sex habits. The cat looked at its size, then decided that going home to have his usual Whiskas meal was much less fatiguing, and sauntered away.
Thanks for your kind comments.

Oh dear great capture!
Ha ragione il gatto , a volte le nutrie sono piu' grandi di lui ! E potrebbero essere anche piu' cattiva , hanno fame !
Beautiful composition. excellent work
LOL...incontinent sex habits!
Wow, what a stunning capture you did, dear Sandra. I hope at home there was somebody to open that tin of Whiskas for him or her ;)

A Fabulous capture!!!...a great weekend to you!!
It looks weird o my screen.. A nice picture though..
Outstanding shot! That is one large rodent.
Great capture, Sandra! Yes, Whiskas doesn't bite back! ;o)
That shot really grabbed me. I love the expression of the cat and that nutria looks like a two tailed mubbinscubby.
I think the kitty is thinking yummmm lunch... great shot.

Great, a wise move eh Sandy, this guy could be caring many nasties.
Cool :)
Great shot and I am glad he went for the Whiskas. My cat Egon also eat Whiskas instead of rats and stuff.
I'm sure he sauntered away with an "I would pulverize you if I felt like it. I'm just not in the mood" air. Beautiful capture! I love the POV and the variety of the vegetation on the ground. Pretty cat.
