Description
Last week Michael Parkinson interviewed David Frost. This week the shoe is on the other foot as Frost interviews the amiable Yorkshire-man. ...
One of his all-time favourite was Muhammad Ali aka Cassius Clay.
What has this got to do with Pelicans, you may well ask ?
This was my take on that interview with Muhammad, and the words ring so true:
"I AM THE GREATEST ... physically and mentally,
I am beautiful ... float like a butterfly - sting like a bee". (what a motormouth)
This is worthy of a zoom - OUCH !
Cassius's beak nearly pierces the others beak ...
Cheers *BB*

Ha...although he is revered by many in the USA...I am not one of them. I get your drift completely:) Your pelicans are acting just like two boxers trying to intimidate each other at the weigh-in before the match. Neat image with a fun title.
Brilliant pic and a great narrative, Brigitte!!
LOVE IT ...
Great capture! Looks like two politicians!? ;o)
Excellent capture! I love how there's a ring of birds around the two main combatants, egging them on.
Hehe... I hear you! Great image Brigitte - gorgeous birds!
Great title and shot
haha, very right... and wonderful capture of family session!- are Pelicans better? never seen them wildlife- good to have tv;)
Spectacular and brilliant photo-shot, dear Sis. Amazing, it's if I can hear them; and WOW, what an 'eye-catcher' that one which maybe is the dentist of that group. AU, what a converse.
A really super shot Brigitte, they have certainly drawn a crowd or should I say flock????
Excellent action shot!! 11+
outstanding image!!
With all those beaks, they could play pick up sticks!! Great shot!1
Looks like a pretty wicked title fight...and does the winner get fish ?...LOL Dig all the expressions on the punters as well Ali and opponent, never realised you could fit so many critters in the one frame ! Ace capture BB & ~Cheers~
Excellent capture also reminds me of politicians trying to outdo each other
SUPERLATIVE COMPOSITION
I guess some animals are content with eating out of one another's mouth! Great capture- very busy little section of coast!
A super capture of these two opponents and yes just like Mohammad Ali. I wouldn't have thought they got stroppy with each other like this.
Y'know, they really are not the brightest looking birds are they? but then, when 3/4 of your head is a shopping bag, brains don't seem to be a priority.
Life is the very same, no matter where, what and who. We are all so much alike... It's a wonderfully dynamic capture, Brit!
Ouch is the perfect word! Don't know how I missed this one. This is a brilliant action shot. I like how some of the others seem to be watching and perhaps choosing sides.
hahah this is super
Looks like a street fight with the other birds yelling fight fight. Great shot
Excellent capture!
Such a great capture, wow never seen so many pelicans in one place, very cool.
LOL, very good take on the interview. I love this photo, it's great and it tells a wonderful story from a perfect angle. Plus I adore pelicans. Your pelicans are much prettier than our brown pelicans but they are ALL so crazy looking. I just love 'em.
what a profusion of beaks, a wonderful image
What a group! Excellent capture!!
Wonderful !!!!! Io non li vedo nemmeno da soli , ma in gruppo sono spettacolari ! I do not see them either by themselves, but as a group are spectacular!
A magnificent capture of this myriad of beautiful waterfowl, BB, displayed in a contentious atmosphere. The birds look virtually cartoonish, especially with those button eyes.
