Description
Ack! She's bald!
This is my second refinement of a cartoon female head. Homage or not, my first try looked a little too much like a "silver age" Archie character. (Triangle nose, no lower eyelashes, etc.) I heard that some comic publishers are a litigious bunch, and a certain other comic has been sued for being to similar in style to another one. Therefore, I made a few changes.
Suggestions??

Does this mean that you're going to sell the 3D's down the river for cartoony looking comics? sigh
She looks good, even when she is bald
She's OK, the key is getting expressions in the face. Not to mention looking at the face from other angles. One thing to do to practice is by creating the people in the scene in Poser, then tracing over the outlines. In fact, this was one of the original uses for Poser, to allow artist without access to real models to see a human shape in a given pose.
Is this completely 2D or did you trace over a Poser render? Nicely done, it's really clean!
i think it's a great attempt at a comic character!:)*5
