Description
...A March afternoon...but 2010. This year every growing thing seems to be about a month behind last year's pace.
Not much growing here but the grass:)...however, I couldn't pass up the light.

Very beautiful capture! it would be nice to see some sun for a decent amount of time, like say, 15 minutes?
Yes even here when it has supposed to have been summer, the weather has been very unpredictable. The shadows are nice in this photo Bill. Well done.
Great capture and shadows in this Bill, still looks a little cool though!!
the lighting is wonderful
The light on the grassy knoll is definitely worth it! Clive
Yes ... last year's weather was just to rope you in. This year has been more "normal," although things ARE blooming quite late. (At least I assume they'll eventually bloom!) Now that you're stuck ... Mwaaahaahaahaahaa!!! :P :*
LOL! Tara :D Bill, it is a lovely light you captured in this shot. I just discovered that my Snowdrops are now in bloom. That is always a beginning. :)))
lovely image
It reminds me of a poem that I learned at school...however due to a senior moment I can't recall which one at present! Superb.
Wonderful light Bill and a nice shot.
wonderful excellent photo
Very pretty capture.
An enchanting image, as if a page was taken from a childrens fairytale book, great effect of the subtle volumetrics and grand old tree ... BB
Very nice.
Wow, magical light! I wouldn't have been able to pass it up either. Beautiful capture!
very beautiful light!! great shot
A favourite time of day, the long shadows saying "time to go home, you're tea is ready"...sometimes it's good to just sit and watch the grass grow. I love that big tree, I see they've fenced it in so it doesn't wander off :-)
Long winter shadows...one of my favorite subjects. Fine DOF and sense of depth, along with a stellar POV employed to capture this super scene, Bill.
You have captured that last rays of the sun so beautifully in this shot.
Splendid image , great depth and lightinfg !
Lovely image, grass looks very green!!!
Wonderful space to relax. Very well done. Beautiful image
Wow - I don't blame you - that light just screams out to be photographed! Most excellent, my friend!
Splendid pic.
WOW! What a beautiful looking tree and love the long shadows. Dana
Great image!!!
Oh yeah, this is all about the light--simply gorgeous!!
I am drawn to this image as I would be unable to resist walking up this slight incline into the light. Very well seen.
Good shot. The light that reflects the flavors. Congratulations again and many thanks ((5 + +)) Bonne prise de vue . La lumière qui y reflète les saveurs . Bravo encore et mille mercis ((5++))
