Description
The Sikorsky SH-60/MH-60 Seahawk (or Sea Hawk) is a twin turboshaft engine, multi-mission United States Navy helicopter based on the airframe of the United States Army UH-60 Black Hawk and a member of the Sikorsky S-70 family. The most significant airframe modification is a hinged tail to reduce its footprint aboard ships.
I had to laugh when I looked at the shot below on the computer. As I was setting up the shot, a young boy next to me argued feverishly with his mum for the entire time! He eventually 'lost it' and stormed off vowing never to return. Thats him on the left hand side of the frame!!!!!!!
Both photos are best viewed zoomed.

Both pictures are great, but the one with the kid storming off? Excellent!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of avionics on this whirly-bird. Great capture, Clive
I thought...whaaa...oh, the engine access panels are wide open! ...in your second shot which really get my attention too. Nice work Andrew.
Great details here, but love the shot of the boy--I remember having those kinds of "discussions" with my mom~~~I never won those either!!
Great Rotor blur.
I love the Blur of the Helicopters blades and back rotor. Outstanding photography my friend.
Most interesting..I think our SAR copters are in this family.
Well captured from below. Even a hint of a resemblance of the puma choppers I know. LOL @ the boy.
two very cool shots, well done
Nice shot(s). Funny how sometimes a great photo op just falls into our lap.

Wonderful shot and just the right amount of rotor blur. Dana
