Mijn leven dat volgt nu de baan, als Meesterwerk reeds voorgedaan. In de muziek, die toen al was, zo hemels en zo groen als gras; ben ik vandaar opnieuw gekomen om mij van ego's te verschonen. Al doende lerend om te zien, wat goed was en wat kwaad misschien Om onderscheid te leren maken van goede of de slechte zaken. Om te bewaren en behoeden, zo dat alles komt ten goede. Om te vinden mijn levenslicht als een hemelsblij gedicht. Vol goede moed, doch ned'rig verheven, ben 'k toen nog eventjes gebleven.
