Description
When I first came up with this character i hadn't even heard of the band so please don't ask. In his earliest conception he wore a snow suit and was dressed in white with skis. Later His costume changed to the now familiar Black and red. Over the years his costume has undergone only the most subtle changes but has always maintained a few consistent aspects. The fur on the cuffs and calves serves as a noise dampener but otherwise has no practical function. Many cats have a tuft of fur on the backs of their paws so I placed them, on him for show. Originally he had some on his jawline too but it was too much so i removed it. The plates on his forearms and shins hide various gadgets from lockpicks to bugging devices. The mask filters air as one would expect and the goggles were meant to look as catlike as possible. The goggles also give him the ability to see perfectly in all types of lighting conditions. he can track an opponent by scent using his mask, with an arrow that indicates to him the direction of the strongest scent reading. His computer uses a neural memory core and as such has an infinite storage capacity allowing him to store everything he has ever done while wearing his armor. It also stores a record of every scent ever tracked with a Bio file of the target. Panterra was always supposed to be an experimental supersoldier, I even tried to sell the idea to Marvel but they rejected it. He ocassionaly uses a shield similar to Captain America but with a retractable blade along the edge. He also used Two kinetic discs that can be used as buckler shields. This is my oldest and most dear character and I would love to see him in print some day. Well enjoy everybody and as always please ignore the typos.
