Beautiful capture - excellent dof and pov - (highs for the new 3 days -21C)
For me this is the time when I lived in Skåne (southest part of Sweden) I don't saw so many thistels but poppis in thousends in the fields. Wonderful reminder!
Chicago's weather is having something of a bipolar event right now, and so it'll be a while before I can see thistles growing around here. Pity. But I can see them in your gallery and they're gorgeous and graceful, and I love their color against the warm color of the background with those red splashes of blooming flowers of a different species. This is really fantastic. So warm! This is a wonderful promise of spring arriving.
Waouw... this is looking like a Monet painting... Wonderful image, Helle ! :~)
A lovely reminder of feeling warm!

Oh Helle, I just love this! The poppies and the grasses and that lovely thistle together ... I can hear bugs chirping and feel the relaxed, warm weather of a sunny day. Ahhhhhhh ... beautiful!
I agree with Gimi53 - this really looks like a Monet creation! Fantastic image Helle. It is wonderful that we have these images to carry us through the winter spells!
