Description
Perhaps one of the strangest novels I've ever read. It is a cross between sci-fi and fantasy with curious scientific information. To top it off, it has giant fungi that have strange effects. Now this was written in the late 19th century by John Uri Lloyd. It takes place in vast caverns beneath Kentucky, populated by a race of sightless, radiant beings who possess superior intelligence. It's a trip and a half. Enjoy!

You read the coolest books .. I have a list, grins, if ever I get time to read them all! Love this .. you've gone underground and their world .. did you run into any of them? I'm guessing you experienced the strange effects of those giant fungi, to quote you " it's a trip and a half" giggles!!!
