Description
The first major Imperial casualty in the war between the Imperium and the Argon Confederacy is the Imperial Heavy Cruiser Hell Fire.
Caught by surprise by one of the new Argon Gunship's and hit by an ion cannon beam in its primary weapons field generator, the Hell Fire is split in two by the force of the resulting explosion.
From this type of explosion there can be no survivors and over 1000 Imperial Navy personnel lose their lives - such is the cost of war in deep space.
The above is a picture from my on-going NH (Nightmare Hero) series with background images by Dr O. The Nightmare Hero series of ships are avalable here at Renderosity.
Today's featured Dr O background image is entitled "Nice Neighborhood"

OH!!!!!I VISITED YOUR GALLERY AND I CAN TO SAY IT IS SUPERB !!!YOU ARE A MASTER OF THIS KIND CONGRATULATIONS MY FRIEND!!!ALL YOUR CREATIONS ARE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE.
'Nice Neighborhood' how fitting.....great image Phil, hot FX. 1000 crew, gives an idea of the minimum size of these beasties, though with automated systems, they could be 2,3 or 4 times bigger than we'd assocciate with a 1000 crew vessel.Well that's my 'Brain Training' for another day....have a good one.
Fantastic work well done!!!
