VERY cool, love the selective coloring!!
Impressive coloring!
Nice capture!!
I think that wagon will tilt if a fly sits on it. LOL ! What a fantastic shot Carin :-D
He knows his market and target audience:) The gray tinted background sets this off beautifully.
What an impressive image!!
Did you buy anything Carin, lots of things!!!
Excellent and interesting shot. Fantastic selective coloring. Looks superb!
WOW! This rocks...of course, when I saw the title, I immediately wondered if you'd accomplished the mission you'd been assigned and purchased perfume from N'york as well. I really love the selective coloring as the reds and the bright, vibrant, lively colors pop so much more sharply. I also love the human focus and the implications of "life as usual" which seems, to me at least, so incredibly New Yorkish. This is really super stuff!
"New York, New York, a helluva town..." This pops! Well done, Clive
Superb coloring effect Carin.Must be a strong table or structure.
SUPERLATIVE, WONDERFUL IMAGE!!!
Very well captured! City life for sure!
Start spreading the news, I’m leaving today I want to be a part of it - New York, New York These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray Right through the very heart of it - New York, New York......(Frank Sinatra) Great night atmosphere in this shot of the colors, detail, patterns and variety so common in NY, Carin!
wonderful capture, Carin Glad you had a great time
Outstanding post work. New York is the only city I have been to where I can actually feel the electricity in the air. Years ago I was in Manhattan for a wedding and sharing a hotel room with my New York cousin. Around 3 a.m. he says, "I'm hungry. You want to get something to eat?" I replied, "Now?" He say, "Yeah, let's go." We go down to the lobby and out onto the sidewalk. Two doors down is a grocery store with a cafeteria style display of hot trays along one wall. You had a choice of eight different cuisines. There is a reason they call it the city that never sleeps.
Gotta love the hats with the built-in mohawks! :D Your color pop is perfect. I looked at the image for quite a while, enjoying the details, before I scrolled down. When I saw Marilyn's comment I had to go back up and look again ... I hadn't noticed! Now THAT is appropriate use of selective coloring.
Lovely shot Carin.
My desire one day is a visit to New York! wonderful pop on the color and beautiful image.
Very nice capture! :)
I'll take that piece in the bottom center please..... I wonder how he does it. Interesting and colorful capture. Aloha
It's not all it's cracked up to be. ;D I prefer the country. :) Excellent capture!
The colours just pop ... in fact they are electrifying and who could resist buying anything from this vendor ? good observation, Carin BB
Now he has plenty of colourful stock here and he surely brightens up a dull day. A lovely capture.
Great capture Carin!
Great shot Carin. I remember you looking at a vendor in San Francisco with animal hats in Chinatown.
Very colorful and isn't it amazing that you can buy anything on the streets of New York. Dana
