Description
I loved this shot the moment I uploaded it. The surfer on the right was just kinda hanging around, waiting for his wave. The other one found his!! Oh yeah, and the light---just after sunrise.

Very cool capture! Do love the light
GORGEOUS!
Its amazing how early a surfer will be out there. I guess the early bird gets the surf. Nice capture. Aloha
Gorgeous light! You have the touch for these surfing captures!
Rock, Rock, Rock, away beach!!!!!! (The Ramones)
What a great shot! Wow. The light is superb. I want to yell at the guy on the right, though ... "watch out for the piling!" :P
My take,...the guy on the right is wondering...is that fin attached to a shark or a dolphin? I too am really liking the early morning light!
I'm with Tara! They are very close to the pylon but I guess they know that pier so well! Great light and cool capture!
Beautiful shot and great lighting Marilyn, well done!!
wonderful action shot! indeed wonderful lightning! RS
The illuminated water splashing the pylon even looks great!
excellent
Excellent shot...well done
I love the color of the water. The fellow on the right looks like one of my people. Bald, bearded and thick in the waist but still surfing. Hope lives.
A very good one!
Early to get up and go. I'll never tire of these shots.
Fantastic shot. Ya know, if you look at the piling and the water disturbance around it, it almost looks like it's heading for the guy waiting for his wave...sort of like "Attack of the Killer Pilings" coming to a theater multiplex near you. Great shot and I love the POV...almost a bird's eye view, but angled nicely...and yeah, the light is superb. The colors are amazing and warm too.
when the boys (allthree) were growing up we lived on the strand and off the youngest went at 5Am love the photo:
Beautiful natural lighting and the guy to the right has to watch out for the piling. Dana
