Description
Our home for the last nine days - eight nights was the $375 million Carnival Miracle. These are the three glass elevators in the eleven story Metropolis Atrium. The skylight at the top is actually part of her famous Y shaped smoke stack. Her inaugural cruse started February 27, 2004 with 2670 passengers and 920 crew. Now I am off to start to catch up with my commenting.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

Interesting perspective! It's enough to make you dizzy. It sounds like a very elegant ship. I hope you enjoyed your cruise.
Whoo Hoo!! great view!! :) :)
As I attempt to look this excellent capture over I find it difficult to not get dizzy looking up from the vantage point that you had chosen.....lol...and no....I'm not afraid of heights....only the ones that people choose to take photo's of....rofl....
love the colors, but wow, what a pov!!
Once again I was flat on my back on the atrium dance floor but quick enough not to get caught. Most everybody was asleep. :>) Dana
Worth being stepped on for this shot!
From that POV the lifts look like some alien transport system in a science fiction film.
WOW! This reminds me of my recent experience in Detroit. We had dinner at the Renaissance Centre on the 72nd floor. I was the only one at that moment in the elevator and as it started ascending, I realized it was a glass elevator running on the outside!! Well, I subsequently stared at the Otis logo on the carpet until it stopped!!! LOL... Coming down was cool because I had my colleagues with me and felt a whole lot braver!!!
Great perspective in this shot , Dana !
Brilliant shot Dana, it took me a few moments to work out which way was up!!
What a great shot! I hope there was an alternative way up..for those like me who don't do glass elevators.
Wonderful shot! Excellent point of view! I think it must have been weird to look at these lifts move "horizontally" back and forth when you lay down on your back? ;o)
Wonderful capture, Dana
Awesome pic.
Great shot! A fascinating perspective.
Back to your old tricks Dana, on your back, taking pics for us to see :o) Does Jo disown you :o) Amazing capture, bet you had an amazing time. xx
Intriguing POV, is that some kind of catwalk at the top. Maybe for the window cleaners. ;)
