Description

This is a portrait version of yesterday's Pin-Up with a couple of fixes and rendering tweaks. Rachel is no longer biting off the tip of her finger--and I modified her expression and the angle of her head slightly. I also used ShaderWorks python script to add AO to her skin shader MATs and fiddled a little with my render settings -- upping the irradiance cache from 50 to 100 and lowering the bucket setting to 16 to reduce the chances of a crash. Then rendered away at 4000x4000. Since I returned to 3D about a month ago, I've been trying to get a handle on something that's always eluded me -- the interaction between light, render, texture and shader settings. I'm finally making some progress. Next week I will try to share what I've discovered. Thanks for visiting, Jim
