Description
A bud of a flower on a pumpkin vine.
Other than contrast, saturation and crop, this was all in-camera, so I am quite surprised by the green splash on the upper part of the leaf on the right. Maybe there was a bit of greener grass above the muted tone of the leaf, and given the shallow DOF it has lost its definition and shape in the capture?

Wonderful Work!!!
These pumpkin flowers look very similar to corgette flowers! Is it possible that the leaf was wet and that is what is causing your colour difference?
superb..
Excellent capture
This is pretty darn cool looking!
Spectacular shot. The dof makes it quite magical.
GREAT WORK!!!!
Outstanding capture Clive.
Wonderful softness to this tender bloom. Excellent image Clive. Sorry to hear about your PP. That is Home Affairs for you. Just tell them you have booked and they must do an emergency passport for you. They can do it in a week if they move their butts.
Almost flourescent, Clive! Great shot!
A quote from one of my favourite musicals! A lovely pic.
Probably part of the leaf is drier or more moist than the rest of it. Whatever the cause ... this is a fabulous photograph! I love the light and the dof, and your composition is wonderful. Gorgeous work! Luister na Carin ... sy weet!
a very nice image!!!
Wow, interesting kind of focus.
Nice composition. Well done.
