Beautiful capture Mies. This sad looking flower helps us always remember that even though the outside is looking withered and old, this flower still contains all the DNA of a beautiful robust self it once was. The outside changes with age but the inside is still the same vibrant and wonderful flower it ever was. People are the same. Too many people see an old lady crippled and withered sitting on a bench and feel sorry for her, but they fail to remember that deep inside this withered little lady still lives the vibrant young woman that once turned every head when she entered the room.

Gorgeous macro, beautiful brilliant colors and outstanding details, sadly this season has past us and were in the flat tones of winter, not that there's not beauty in winter you just have to work a little harder to find it, nice to see the beautiful colors here.
