A Babe in the City I've been thinking about doing a series about short, ugly dudes who are basically real pigs--yet stll get to hang out with all the fantasy hotties. Probably going to have to find myself another ugly little dude soon. Turns out that the DAZ pig has rather limited posing/expression potential. The V4 head morph is RM Angelica, the texture is Angel for V4, the body morph is simply Young +.7 and Thin +.2. Amazing how good .7/.2 looks--and it makes conforming clothes sooooo much easier! The outfit is Orion1167's Phantasie -- which really blew me away once I started fooling around with all its morph dials. There's also a complete set of fantasy poses -- although I ended up working out my own. The only thing lacking are texture options, but the basic texture with the pink bows was pretty much the feeling I was after for this. I installed Carrara 8 Pro over the weeked and starting mucking around a bit before hitting what are apparently a couple of Mac bugs. I bought Carrara to render Dynamic Hair (at least for starters -- you know, for a week or two, until I learn to sculpt my own awesome Sci-Fi/Fantasy figures!) . But so far, I can't make the Carrara Browser recognize any of the Dynamic Hair props I install. Ahhhh, the way of 3D! Maybe at least I'll be able to render some fuzzy little sidekicks for fantasie hotties by Anything Growzing fur onto hapless little Poser creatures. Time will tell. Thanks for stopping by! --Jim
