Hi Glenda, nice to be with you again. It is amazing what turns up, isn't it? In this case there can be no question. It can't be anything but ants. These, however, aren't just any ants. These look like soldier ants (Soldatos). You find them in South American jungles and they are especially mean, voracious critters. I mention this because your rendering seems to me to portray that characteristic. In any case, it is a great rendering and the dark colors are a perfect choice. Great work!

Terrific render Glenda!! I love this one. The ants are very clearly defined. and they do appear to be hungry indeed. I wonder what a bunch of hungry ants are looking for. Maybe its a bunch of uncles. :)
