Description
Red Beechcraft D17S - 1944
B-25D (Grumpy) - 1943
I would tell you about the planes, but for me this was all about color and composition. I did think it was interesting that they're basically the same age.

Cool capture. love how you have this set up
When I read this: "B-25D (Grumpy) - 1943" I thought of the plane saying to the new planes, "You kids with your GPS navigation and automated systems. We had analog and we considered ourselves lucky! You young show-off kids stay off my runway!" Which has nothing at all to do with the photograph, of course. :)
Capture very interesting and historic ! Bravo Tara
Oh goodie, more flying machines! Nice pairing, Christmas-y colors.
Love the smooth lines of these old beauties, and the colors are great!!

The difference between military colours and commercial! Love the POV and crop, Clive
Very nice image!!
As I said to Bill, I LOVE that red!
super contrast
Beautiful stark red against the darker aircraft.
Wonderful composition!
I'm with you, the colour and lines are the important things (sorry, guys!) Great work!

Wonderful Danish Postbox-red Plain tail. :-))) Excellent shot Tara... As i said to Andrea, I finally put som acrylic paint on a canvas :-) What a struccle to make myself do it. I guess you know the feeling...:)
Great contrast in style and purpose, the ultra shiny 'civvie' and the slightly chipped and scuffed 'warbird'.Both perfect, and well matched by you.
Great composition and color - I can see why you took the shot- very nice Tara
hey, was you at the same museum as Bill?- great capture, wonderful backside of a beautiful Beachcraft!
Little did the hangar arrangers know that they were positioning these two airplanes perfectly for you...like the way you've tied these two aircraft together by age...angles and cropping. I didn't "see" this until you presented it this way:*
Wow, what a coincidence, to be in the same hangar as Bill and taking pics of the same aircraft. Serendipity galore!
I like red many emotions can it be awesome capture warm hugs, Linda Kaye
Wonderful details as always, Tara! You have such an eye for these fascinating details! Love that RED! :-D
