Not far away from our home.
The tree so proud
the ice so white
snow sticks to his feet
the sunlight him to greet.
Shadows play
waving their way
a warm welcome to his tribe.

enjoying free.

De boom zo fier
het ijs zo wit
sneeuw kleeft aan zijn voeten
laat het zonlicht hem begroeten.
Schaduwen die spelen
bladeren, zich nooit vervelen
warm welkom aan zijn stam.

die ik tegen kwam.
