Description
One water lily blossom today, with an evergreen tree reflected in the pond.
A bit of dry brush, perhaps, a bit of this and that to give the sense of a painting.

excellent photography! like a lot.
Beautiful shot. Wonderful.
This is so elegant...it's dripping with elegance, and as a particular character might say, it glistens only I'm not saying it in the creepy way he would. But anyway, this is really superb. It's funny seeing this portion of the series in reverse. It's a bit like reading interconnected stories with the narrative switched into a new context, like seeing a midpoint but not a beginning, so you know what happens and then you go back to the very: "It was a dark and stormy night" sort of beginning, only to realize that the characters who haven't met yet have already had ONE adventure together. That's the feeling I get with this lotus series, only the narrative is far more flexible than something written...it's more like learning "The Enumeration of Lotuses" or something. Funny how story stuff keeps cropping up in this comment. I guess because this Lotus series is really superb and evocative, and very, very, very elegant. I love it. Feel free to do zillions more Lotus posts. :-)
Lilies are one of my favorites. Beautiful image. Wonderful reflections and post work.
