Description
They were growing old together ...
Gerard was already sporting a crop of white hair, and with the blue-rinsed Celeste at his side, they made a formidable couple on the dancefloor.
(BTW, Celeste's name means 'heavenly')
One more time - for old times sake, because dancing was their passion and what could be better, than the desire to prove that you are never too old, to do the ~Tango l'amour~ ...
Au Revoir *BB*
PS my Agapanthus in bloom.

Brilliant treatment on this!!!
Very beautiful photo and postwork Great narrative
Hilarious! Glad you caught them 'at it', Brigitte!
Super image and narrative BB.
its like a dedication! j'entends le tango... beautiful picture, great with dark background, and wonderful shadows in it!
This is commitment to each other, and surrender. An incredible scene from these two Agapanthus flowers, dear friend.
Never realised that flowers did the Tango, but this capture proves otherwise ! So this must be the heavenly l'amour...mmm, gotta learn to dance, this looks like heaps of fun ! Nicely done BB & ~Cheers~
Ah, love in the garden!!
splendid picture
Beautiful shot wonderful sentiment. Never thought I'd have envy for a flower/
Beautiful!
Wonderful colors and stunning postwork! 5+
First things first dear Brigitte. I hadn't seen the movie soooo after giving it a long painful watch I've come to one conclusion. Gerard and Celeste make a much more adorable couple than the couple played by Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider. And I'm certain that Gerard and Celeste have a better sense of rhythm too. I love your humorous take on this BB. Superb photo. :-)
A wonderful little story to go with this capture. Can you hear me chuckling???? I can just see them dancing in your garden. Mine are just starting to come out. I shall have to watch out for the dancing ones.
beautiful work!
BEAUTIFULLY done!
WONDERFUL WORK
Very nice.
Great imagination, story, and wonderful work!!
deep sigh.... slight tears in my eyes..... so nice..
Cool narrative! I was just outside doing the snow shovelers tango...pant-wheeze
Beautiful.
There is an ancient Japanese legend that tells a story of a husband and wife, Jo and Uba. Both lived to a very great age, dying at the same hour on the same day, and since then their spirits live in a very old pine tree with two trunks. So, you know, Gerard and Celeste, maybe? An absolutely gorgeous image. The black and grey background really sets off the colors. Just stunning!
Great title for this image!
Sorry I missed this shot until now, brigitte - this is wonderful, sweet and funny! ;o)
Excellent image, Britka! Did you Mrs. Schneider who starred with Marlon Brando died a few days ago?
Beautiful Hugs susan~
