Description
I met a young man named Michael Hayes this morning. This is his car and I am going to ask all the car buffs, if they can identify the make. I will tell you that he is a magician by trade and after we chatted, he drove away in this fully functional automobile. This is as it came out of the camera except for cropping. The answer will be with my next posting.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

~It's Italian...beyond that, you got me! Nice car, great capture!~
Oh hey, I know what this is, it's a red car. You can tell by the styling and the shape of that back bit where the rear wheels cause that little bulge. Okay, maybe not, but I can at least pretend to know what this is and sound all smart and official about it. Whatever it is, I like it, and it's a nice contrast to the station wagon in the background. Is it a Porsche?
it's a CAR! a magician's car! it's a Magician's RED car! I dunno! nice car
It's gotta be a Volkswagen Beetle.
I'll guess some form of Ferrari...at least that is what the rearing black horse on a yellow field leads me to believe...but then maybe this is pure illusion:)
It looks European , possibly a kit car, Nice.
Wonderful car & capture :)
Must be a Ferrari. Beautiful shot of a beautiful car.
I MUCH prefer the Estate car in the background!
Great capture of this red beautie! It is a Ferrari - you can see it on the
what a nice car...would love to drive it...
bmac62 is right on this one what year i do not know but fantastic capture.
She looks a 1961 Ferrari 250 GTO. Magnificent!!
As far as I know, Ferrari never made a drophead version of the 250 GTO. There' s lots of replica 250' s around, so this must be another one. The bonnet is a big giveaway: it doesn' t fit properly and has some odd bulges near the windscreen. So it must be a Kit car, but what make ?? Peter
Whatever it is it's great!
It has the Ferrari logo on the bonnet. I agree with Andrea though. The estate is more servicable for the girls :o) Although I could see them cruising in this :o)
I have to agree with Bill on this, it most be a trick! ;D Wonderful capture!
belle voiture
Nice cap; I think I need to do a evaluation drive... Ferrari 330 LM-B I think is correct 1962/1963-ish? last of the front engine Ferraris? Problems: Besides the fact there were only 4 built, there should be three ports just aft of the front wheels (instead of two). The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO has two ports and could be the other answer--but it is a hardtop.
Great looking car, also a fantastic photoshot.
Awesome car!!!!!!
Excellent picture of a sports car that I've probably seen before at auto shows. Unfortunately, I'm not free or have the wherewithal to identify it at this juncture. As for durleybeachbum's comment, what the heck is an Estate car? All I clearly see in the background is a station wagon.
A great sporty looking car but goodness knows what it is as I'm not up with these at all.
As I mentioned, the owner is magician Michael Hayes and this was once a 1977 Nissan 280Z. As with many of you, I thought it was a million dollar Ferrari. The Ferrari emblems, all add to the magic of the car which he levitates 8 inches during his show. He lives in Ontario, Canada and was on his way to Key West Florida. Yes, he would be willing to sell the car for $47,000. Dana
Wow, I would never have guessed a Nissan! Excellent shot!
cool car, never seen this model before. looks like a Ferrari has their logo.
THATS A BEAUTY...Look this Canadian Exotic car: CANADIAN EXOTIC CAR PLETHORE LC-750
