They are real, believe me!
Here is a Milkweed locust (Phymateus morbillosus) looking at you. I picked it up and it was quite accommodating for the photo shoot.
Scale is not that evident, I will post another of it in my hand.
I have placed this one under the gallery of 'Snapshot' as I did not take this picture. It might be my camera and my hands, but...!
