Very nice photo and love the title that you chose to go with it
I guess he is a happy hoppy camper! He's found the vegetation Xanadu! He'll probably eat until he bursts open. Excellent capture Jean-Luc!
Thank you, Magnus and Shari! :)
wonderful capture
What a fabulout grasshopper or is that a locust? Great insect either way. Wonderful closeup. I bet you had to sneak up on it to keep it from jumping away.
Thank you, Flavia and SciFiBabe. :) No idea if that is a locust or grasshopper (what's the difference?), i assumed it was a grasshopper. ;) Actually, no, i did not have to sneak up on it (too much), i heard it and tried to find it by ear... failed... repeated the walking/looking process, and finally found it (might have been another one making the sound, even, but i did find that one). It just stayed there without moving (except its antennae), and didn't try to jump on me. :)
wundervolle macro
Thank you, JuliSonne. :)
yep going with the title i saw this bugger as a long huge camping trailer.
An excellent and very sharp shot! ;o)
Thank you, René and Rhanagaz. :)
