Description

A Plains Hound protects her sleeping "puppies." It would be bad enough to cross paths with a Plains Hound, but you really don't want to bump into a protective mother. It not only wouldn't be a good experience, it woul be your LAST experience! _______________________ I've always like the DAZ Gargoyle Hound and was very pleased with these variations by Sparky. I featured the former in several earlier postings in my gallery, but completely forgot about Sparky's wonderful "Plains Hound" and "Hyena Hound" morphs and textures. Accidentally stumbled upon them, last night, and decided it using them was long over due. So here you are. In this case, I used the slimmer "Plains Hound" body morphs with the "Hyena Hound" texture. Just a personal whim; both textures are great. I sized down the Umbrella Acacia to bush size. Wanted the grass to be much taller, but when I made it larger, you couldn't see the pups. Life is a compromise. Sigh. This is that rare achievement for me, just a few elements to create the effect I wanted. So far, 2011 has been good. Grin. Thanks to all of you for your support over the past year(s). Jeremy CREDITS: Vue6 Pro Studio, Poser6. Critters: DAZ's "Gargoyle Hound" using Sparky's "Plains Hound" morphs with his "Hyena Hound" texture. I believe Sparky's product was purchased at Renderosity under the name "Desert Hounds," but he/she is no longer a Rendo merchant and unfortunately the product appears to not be available. Ecosystem: Linda Daireaux's "Lush Grasses" plant collection (Cornucopia3d). Tree: Vue6's "Umbrella Acacia" plant.

Beautifully done Jeremy! Simple but elegant in a picturesque way. Its exotic, yet familiar, kind of like National Geographic gone Extra-Galactic ;) Or maybe its Earth some 5000 yrs from now...
