There's something weird in the title, hope it's just coincidence, but in Italy "commander X mas" means only one thing, commander Junio Valerio Borghese, who headed a fleet of light battle boats, called MAS, similar to the US PT's of J. Kennedy. The Xth Mas during the last months of fascism became known for its ruthlessness, torturing of prisoners and raids against opposers of the regime. Borghese spent time in jail after the war for war crimes.
