Description
...took this picture of cyclamen and palms in front of a downtown Seattle hotel on February 4, 2010.
...And February 2011 is only a month away...reason for hope during a prolonged cold snap here for the last week:)

Ah, what a refreshing respite from the coldness of January! I find myself trying to sniff my screen, these look so lovely..... A testament to the skill of the photographer! A delightful photo, Bill! :-D
Composition, light and dof lead us right down that cyclamen path. Gorgeous image! :*

Magical image Bill! I do not get Cyclamens to stay alive in our hot temps! Grrr... Great job!

Beautiful shot!
VERY SWEET PHOTO!!!
jolies fleurs!!
Fantastic floral arrangement...
These are so beautiful and exotic-looking, and I would have a hard time believing that they're hardy enough to grow in nature if I hadn't seen them in the woods myself! Excellent composition and capture!
Beautiful flowers and love this color. I also love the small palm plants next to them. I was given one for a gift one time and I think I managed to kill it quicker than most other plants I kill. Sigh...just do NOT have a green thumb.
Lovely the little tuber flowers are among my favourites!
Beautiful composition and capture! Love the lighting on the flowers. :)
They are a hardy, pretty flower. xx
Awesome capture Hugs Susan~
This must be a wonderful garden to see. Great lighting and colours, Clive
Gorgeous myriad of colors, depth, focus, patterns and textures in this cool shot of the Seattle flora, Bill. I wouldn't think that Seattle is the best milieu for palms.
SPLENDID IMAGE!
A lovely capture of these beautiful cyclamen. I love them and have a lot of the smaller ones in my garden as they are hardier.
