Description
I made it home safely, I was home this morning but was pretty tired..so I stayed off the computer and lied down for a bit...
didn't get much sleep last night because I was a little worried about being stuck in north dakota...
we heard that grand forks was supposed to get 6-9 inches of snow between midnight and 6 am..however..they got nothing...
the drive home however was interesting..part of I-29 the visibility was ..pretty much zero.. we left at 7:30 am..it was still dark and blowing snow...
then we turned onto nd 66 which turns into MN 11 and from drayton nd to donaldson minnesota..the blowing snow was tretcherous...we drove slow..but made it through..you couldn't see much more then a foot in front of you at a time..
once we past that spot though the drive was easy.
overall not bad...
now however we'd be stuck there..
I-29 is now closed.
there's a 100 car pileup on one of the interstate roads...
from fargo, nd...
good thing we didn't go there. i'm safe at home though. I did take video of the drive and i'll look at it either later or tomorrow and probably put it on youtube.
