Description
This is my 'something special' under the decorated tree that I bought for myself and my helpers wrapped.
After four years of getting to grips with my Alpha DSLR-A100, I decided to get something new to play with: the Alpha SLT A55.
The last two days I was challenged to get to know it in a hurry - there was a cactus Moon Flower to try on and Flamingos in a stream near a highway. More challenges to come for sure.
Slowly images from this camera will filter through as I have a huge stock of images to share!
It might be an alpha, but not my omega...

Interesting photo!
Stunning capture Clive. I will also have to save for a new Sony Camera. There is so many new model Sony Cameras though. Congratulations with the new camera. Looking forward to see how the new Sony camera performs from a fellow Sony Camera user.
nice one...
Nice portrait of your new toy! Can't wait to see what you do with it... I have a hunch that the omega is a myth for photographers, there will ALWAYS be something better that we want!
Great capture, Clive! Looking forward to the photos you take with it!
Congrats on your new camera! I'm sure you'll have loads of fun learning all the bells and whistles. Can't wait to see what comes of it! :)
Wow, just read the review on your new Sony Alpha SLT a55...very impressive. Can't wait to see more and hear what you think of this new beauty.
Nice bit of kit there Clive, am looking forward to seeing many shots from it.
I always hope that I'm using my omega..but I wear them out!
