Description
Looked out our den window and found this turkey vulture on the roof. These guys are all over Florida with adults growing to 27 inches (69cm) in length and with a wing span of 69 inches (175cm). Only adults have red heads. Zoom is a must for details.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

the comments or the vultures? Great capture
Amazing POV Dana, an excellent shot!
He's one ugly looking bird, nice shot though.
Seeing one of these on my roof would make national headlines in all the newspapers. Nice shot Dana.

Flipping heck, he is a big bird, amazing!!!
une gardienne??
WONDERFUL CAPTURE
Crikey he is close, a super capture of this formiddable looking bird. I'm glad we don't have any down here all the same.
Cool capture of the big bird, just sitting there waiting for something to pounce on, Dana. Proportionately speaking, the heads on these birds look too small for the body.
hope there's nothing dead around, nice pic.
Cool shot Dana!
