Description

Looked out our den window and found this turkey vulture on the roof. These guys are all over Florida with adults growing to 27 inches (69cm) in length and with a wing span of 69 inches (175cm). Cool capture of the big bird, just sitting there waiting for something to pounce on, Dana. Proportionately speaking, the heads on these birds look too small for the body.
