An extreme close up - just experimenting with blurry reflections in place of specular on the skin, I like the effect but at the expense of longer render times - isn't it always!! More info on the following thread:

Very kool and highly realistic closeup! Not sure if I prefer blur-refl over spec for highlights - mixed results on my tests and paid a penalty on render time! Great work though.

Superb render. Seen some game artists blend their basic textures with a blurred version of the same bitmap, always assumed this was create softer highlights (maybe I misunderstood the reason).
