Wow if you haven't check out SaintFox's "Farina" here in the marketplace. Hubba hubba hubba, a fair-skinned beauty of a texture and morph, though she kept (mostly) covered in this render. She's on the left. PDesign's "Yuko" on the right. I botched the magic. Bagginsbill's VSS tweaked for the skin.

Oh I am glad you like them - I somehow new that the materials are the right thing for you. The small Yuko gives a very nice contrast to the larger Farina and that little light FX is top!

Yoko rocks and so does her partner in magic....you have to have a warrior teamed up with a magician!!! Thanks for this image, I was feeling the blues about Poser and rendering in general, and forgot the reason I got into this...to make friends and make people laugh. At last I got back in touch with my muse and seeing this two beauties reminded me of how much I miss this! Thanks amigo!!!

great looking characters
you know, i think you're pushing the edge of what Poser can do in terms of realism. the skin looks great, the hair looks great, and Yuko especially looks very realistic in built and proportions. the only parts of the render that need adjusting are the metals. neither look like they have a real environment to reflect, and the gold looks like it's glowing. i say look like because i know from experience you can have that kind of performance even when the material shouldn't glow and there's stuff that should be reflecting. overall, it's a highly excellent work showing great technical ability with Poser's lighting and materials. i think you can spend more time on your 2D skills, now.
