Description
...another day, another train:) This one pulling what I think are grain cars. Earlier trains posted two weeks ago were pulling coal and shipping containers.
...these trains pass near one of our favorite Puget Sound beaches.
...BNSF? ...Burlington Northern Santa Fe.
...Ooooooo, just read that trains move 40% of the freight in the USA but only account for 2.2% of the greenhouse gases emitted country-wide!

Quality image, Well done !
wonderful image! gorgeous capture!
You've got a really neat vantage point, Bill! Really cool train photo with lovely scenery as a bonus!
Capital clarity, composition and lighting effects in this uber stellar night shot of the train and its eerie environs, Bill. Really gorgeous capture!
This is outstanding! The light is gorgeous, the color of the water is amazing, and the train looks like it's about to knock you off the track. I'd worry, if I didn't know exactly where you were standing! :P Really nice shot, hon!
gorgeous!!
~Beautifully Evocative~ THANKS for sharing!!!
superlative image!! Happy Holidays!!

I just love these shots you got of the trains... more more!!
Wonderful photo ! Great lighting ! http://www.cartoline.it/pics/natalebabboa008.swf
Fantastic capture Bill and I still can't get my mind around the fact that 3 engines can pull that many cars. Dana
Great capture Bill. Interesting info about the greenhouse gases.
another glorious capture of the primal beauty & dream of a train. The clarity is wonderful---making the angled lines & edges of the beast all the more tactile. But the smoke & shimmer in the trees, the softness of the background, and those strong headlights emphasize the 'dream' of the thing, at the same time. Man, where are you standing, to get such shots? A bridge maybe? It's beautiful. Train fans should see this: This is the way to capture the Presence of a train.
Great capture !!
Another perfect train picture.
This is great railroad photography! Everything is right here: Interesting theme, a good POV and a high-class quality, stuff for a calendar! The diesel smoke over the locomotives gives us a feeling for the power, and I wish I could hear them howl... And the end of the train (or the middle section) is seen far away right.... Stunning pic! A fav, if it is allowed...
