Description

Less stylized version of my previous post thumb_2146128.jpg - sort of how the inspiration for that one could have looked like as a real landscape, with a little cliché effects :) Vue 8.4 Complete render, a few modifications, framing & signature with Photoshop. Most of the models & texures by me, foreground pines with Onyxtree. Cranes from DAZ/Ken Gilliland. Thanks for viewing - comments always welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day - Lars *COMMENT UPDATE* Some of you mention the lighting, as if there's a light source behind the camera. There's only one lightsource, the sun. I never use other than that for plain outdoor scenery. The effect on the reeds is caused by shadowmaps & backlight material effects. Personally I like it :)

I like this one even better. All great art lies very near the border of cliché. That's why you are an artist, you know where the border is. This work is on the right side, in other words shows an artist that know exactly what his doing.

I like them both! The backlighting in this really makes it stand out. The sun shining through the reeds really highlights them. Fantastic work!

I certaintly prefer this one. But I'm surprised with the lighting on the reeds, which seems to come from the back, opposite to the sun. Did you used another light source ? Anyway, that's somptuous picture!

are those world builder conifer trees? It sure looks like it...nice landscapes work, but it appears the sun is at the back but light shines on the reeds in front of the camera like the light is from end of the spectrum as well?
