Description
Old Soldiers Never Die , they just fade away . Two old gentlemen , in wheelchairs , wrapped up against the Autumn chill now in the twilight of their days . No one would give them a second glance if they passed them on the street . These both old soldiers are ex Gurkha soldiers both wearing the Victoria Cross from actions in World War 2 on parade at the Cenotaph in London on 11 November 2010 . Apologies for the quality of the photo but it was a case of getting a quick snap shot otherwise never see this piece of living history again and have heavily cropped it with the surrounding crowds .
Cheers All

Those that survived seem to have been forgotten...and actually many today don't get the recognition they deserve... Very nice capture!

Probably two of the finest warriors that ever wore a uniform. They earned thier place it ours to keep them in our minds. All that have stood and stared evil down wherever they found it

My Dad was atatched to the Gurkhas in the Korean war, he has ultimate respect for these blokes, maybe the finest soldiers ever.

Beautifully captured and a deserving tribute to these two old and loyal soldiers to the British Crown!
