In our garden Salvia officinalis, also called Garden sage, and 'Salie' in Dutch.
Here you see the seeds, what's left of it.
Hey, what's there, hidden in a small hole?
A ladybug.
Does it keeps his hibernation?

wonderful!
Excellent capture and find of this little bug hiding within the plant! :)
Very cute capture, Mies Maybe this is her home?
Excellent find and photography!!! Lovely ladybug!!!
Wonderful capture Mies. I bet that little bug was trying to hide and hoping she was invisible, but the eagle eye of Mies found her. I dont know what ladybugs do over the winter, but I'm guessing she is trying to find a warm hiding spot. Have a good night, sleep well and pleasant dreams.
Schitterend geschoten.
schitterende foto Mies !
Great find, Mies! I found quite a colony of ladybirds last winter in a crack in a window frame. No pic..i wonder why not.
This is really beautiful Mies, well 'spotted' and captured.
wonderful shot about frosted flowers and a ladybug near the heart of this one ! Excellent presentation!
marvelous capture
Excellent capture ,Mies !Very beautiful !
Great shot of her hiding where it is hopefully a bit warmer Mies
A REALLY SPLENDID IMAGE!
I found a ladybug at work a week ago. It was crawling on a stone cap to some sort of utility on the ground in an ocean of concrete. I picked it up and set on a tree limb and watched it scurry up the branch. I hope it liked its new location better than the old. Excellent find and capture! I love the light and detail of the soft brown Garden sage against the blurred green background. The ladybug is so cute tucked away in its comfy bed. A bright splash of orange! Beautiful image!
Really nice..great capture! :)
A very beautiful capture and I love your little stowaway. I hope the seedhead stays strong enough to keep her safe for all the winter.
Lovely work!
Such a cool one Mies. I had a ladybug land on me near the car a few days ago. Lady bug, Lady bug, fly away home... Your house is on fire... and your children are alone.
so wonderful presentation !
fantastic picture! and soooo nice with the ladybug!!!!!!
First, this is an amazing plant; the seed pods look like pearls and the petal coloring is exquisite. I think the ladybug is trying to emulate a seed in hopes of camouflage to avoid predators. Unfortunately for her, nature made her a bit too colorful! Still, she seems to have survived so far. Fortunately, the exploratory lens of Mies is a kind and peaceful one. Great capture Mies!
Excellent capture!
