Description
You know how sometimes you're out with your camera and suddenly you see something that makes you think of another Renderosity photographer?
I love it when that happens.
At the beach the other day, I saw the pedestrian overpass in a new way, from a different perspective, and immediately thought of ges. If you're not familiar with his work, make sure you check it out.
Here's a link to his gallery: ges
He's got a series on bridges, as well as one entitled "Modern Times" and they're both brilliant. If I caught the flavor of his work I'll be thrilled!
It's so much fun to be inspired by other artists!

I love it! Very Ges like! Maybe the next step is to repeat Mandy on every level..
excellent image
Hmmmmm, good. Thanks for the ges link. You've got the look/style. First-rate:)
Oh yes - he is brilliant and you have definitely managed to add some ges flavour to this shot! I love Bill and Mandy walking up!
Awesome shot Tara and I think I know that pedestrian....:) And I see what you mean. You got it. :)
Oh yes, I can see the style and you did a wonderful job. Realy like the mono tone what is suitable for a subject.
Lovely shot made all the more better by the person and dog.
I love the POV through the trees and also the black n white look.. Excellent feel.. Very good shot.. :-) Rob
Fantastic lines and angles, and a very Escher-esque feel too. Yes, repeated Bill & Mandys on each level would definitely complete THAT likeness! Well done you!
Love the POV! I love that you caught Bill and Mandy in the photo too - great job!
Wonderful capture, Tara
Amazing structures with those vertical trees
Wonderful contrast between the man-made structure, and the natural environment. Superbly composed, and the monochrome is an excellent choice for this one. Superb photo, Tara!
Wonderful image. Definitely an homage. Thanks for the link.
It was ges one of those things, ges one of those deja vu things....... That's all I'm going to say, because I have tons of other postings to comment on, and time is short.
Great capture and POV love the B&W also.. excellent!!
WOW! This is a very ges-esque capture and it's marvelous! It's funny how that happens: seeing the work of another artist and suddenly realizing that it's shifted, enhanced, or otherwise resonated with something you've experienced/seen at a very specific time. I love when that happens and you've allowed it to happen here. This is simply gorgeous!
Interesting POV and well seen. Thank you for the link.
Great capture and homage! Clive
You have taken this from a great angle to get it looking its best. I see Bill and Mandy are getting some exercise while they wait for you to catch up.
Wonderful capture..
