My first thought was how utterly beautiful, my next thought, that it looked like an upside down big top circus tent, then, poor spider, I wonder if he died. 15 minutes later and I now know that some spiders die in winter, some hibernate, and some kind of, sort of hibernate. Also if you take moss inside lots of little spiders may run out of it. That's important to know. And that about a year ago a 140-million-year-old spider web was found in a piece of amber. I'm a bit too easily distracted. Beautiful capture! Excellent detail. I like the randomness of the design.
