Sterling contrast, patterns and textures in this sharp-as-a-tack capture, A!
Genius! Super shot!
poor spider he must have frozen too
Wonderful capture.
And obviously, just out of shot are a couple of spiders on a trapeze - yes? ^=^ Beautiful. Pure and simple. Stunning find and wonderfully photographed. ^=^

A frozen beauty - I an envious! Clive
what a powerful shot, Andrea!
Fantastic...what a tangled web we weave...
Spectacular capture Andrea. I have seen my share of spider webs but this just surpasses them all. Dana
My first reaction was OH WOW! My second was "I didn't know spiders knew how to knit." This is gorgeous, a great find.
Pure beauty. Really nice find and shot. Thanks for sharing.
it is wonderful
My first thought was how utterly beautiful, my next thought, that it looked like an upside down big top circus tent, then, poor spider, I wonder if he died. 15 minutes later and I now know that some spiders die in winter, some hibernate, and some kind of, sort of hibernate. Also if you take moss inside lots of little spiders may run out of it. That's important to know. And that about a year ago a 140-million-year-old spider web was found in a piece of amber. I'm a bit too easily distracted. Beautiful capture! Excellent detail. I like the randomness of the design.
Spider are indeed wonderful lace-makers ! Great find, Andrea ! (and thanks to mafto62 for pointing my attention to this upload !) :~)
This is a gem. I absolutely love this capture.Outstanding work.
